CIBAFI has submitted its comments to the Basel Committee regarding its Consultative Document on “Revisions to the Core principles for effective banking supervision ("Core Principles").

The CD has been issued on 6^th July 2023 and was open for public consultation until 6^th October 2023

CIBAFI Comments on the Basel Committee’s Consultative Document on Revisions to the “Core principles for effective banking supervision”

CIBAFI submitted its comments on 15th February 2022 to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s (BCBS) Consultative Document (CD) on “Principles for the effective management and supervision of climate-related financial risks”.

The CD has been issued on 16th November 2021 and was open for public consultation until 16th February 2022.

CIBAFI submitted its comments on 04^th November 2020 to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS). The submission included comments on the Consultative Documents (CDs) on “Revisions to the principles for the sound management of operational risk” and “Principles for operational resilience”.

The Consultative Documents have been issued on 6^th August 2020 and were open for public consultation until 6^th November 2020.

CIBAFI submitted its comments on 14^th May 2018 to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) on the Consultative Document on “Pillar 3 disclosure requirements – updated framework”.

The Consultative Document has been issued on 27^th February 2018 and was open for public consultation until 25^th May 2018.

CIBAFI thanked the BCBS for giving the opportunity to the Islamic Financial Services Industry to comment on the Consultative Document. CIBAFI has provided collective feedback of its member banks from over 33 jurisdictions.

CIBAFI submitted its comments on 20th March 2018 to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) on the Consultative Document on “Stress Testing Principles”.

CIBAFI thanked the BCBS for giving the opportunity to the IFSI to comment on the Consultative Document. CIBAFI has provided collective feedback of its member banks from over 30 jurisdictions.
