    CIBAFI is accredited as a Sponsor of Continuing Professional Education under the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)

    8th January 2019, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, Nashville, Tennessee | General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions, the umbrella of Islamic financial institutions is honored to announce its affiliation with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of Continuing Professional Education.

    Aligned with its fourth strategic objective, CIBAFI Professional Development aims to raise the level of competencies of employees in the Islamic finance industry, standardize the training discipline and provide services for accreditation of training institutions, trainers and training materials, as well as issuing various professional certificates.

    CIBAFI has undertaken various initiatives to enhance human capacity in Islamic Financial Services Industry (IFSI) and it recognizes that to enhance such human capacity, it must endeavor to keep all its professional development study materials up to date. Thus, in the last three years, all the training materials of CIBAFI have undergone thorough continuous process of review and accreditation by the CIBAFI Accreditation Board (AcB) members.

    On the same context, this year CIBAFI is proud to share another milestone to its Professional Development initiatives. CIBAFI’s status as a registered sponsor with NASBA affirms its commitment to the delivery of high quality continuing professional education in compliance with the Statement of Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs and the program requirements of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
