    Turkish grain office says issued $21mln sukuk

     

    The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has issued a sukuk worth 100 million lira ($21 million) based on agricultural commodities and is planning another round of issuance worth 300 million lira in the coming days, the board said in a statement on Tuesday.

    The issue, the second of its kind by the TMO following the first one in November 2017, took place on Friday and its annual simple yield was at 18.50 percent. The bids totaled 185 million, TMO said.
